In response to "How many innocent people is it okay to kill via the death penalty? -- nm" by Dano

It's a tough argument to think about, but I'm okay living in a society where there is a handful of mistakes like this.

Our justice system will never ever be perfect. How many people have died because someone stood trial for a crime they likely committed, but couldn't be found guilty because of reasonable doubt, and then killed someone else after release?

The rules need to apply to the overall society as best as possible, but everyone's fooling themselves if we think there's a "perfect" system.
