In response to "first laura linney, now this" by sherlock homie

I look at Linney's list of movies and I can't think of a scene where she was genuinely happy.

Not relieved that she hadn't just died or that some idiot person hadn't screwed things up worse than they already were or fake-happy-condescendingly-approving, but *happy*.

Nothing about her indicates to me that she's ever actually liked the company of anyone she's been with. Her expressions are always full of strain or sorrow or exasperation or contempt. That's not sexy. Looking good isn't enough.
