The ages of consent there are 18 and 20. That's where Polanski filmed Pirates with Charlotte Lewis. Well, and the Seychelles which seems to have the Polanski-approved aoc of 14.

Of course, Lewis was 17 throughout filming of the movie. So either IMDB has filming dates or her birthday wrong, or it happened before she filmed the movie. Or it possibly happened before and during filming.

My guess is casting couch.
