My mom is TERRIBLE. she won't carry it iwht her, and she is always late to places.

I am mostly convinced she does not know how to place a call.
There is no point calling her, because even if she has the phone, she probably can't hear it ring, can't find it in her giant purse, and doesn't really know how to answer it.
