I'm not sure that the show would be as interesting without these things.

Fake editing - well, every episode has to be exciting, even if it... wasn't.
I think bunching is OK, so long as there is one bunch, at the beginning of the episode. It's tough on people who have a bad day, but again I'd rather it not be predictable
