I was supposed to be put under general anesthesia a few months back when I went in for a procedure - but I had low blood sugar right before we were heading to the hospital so I had to have a glass of juice. The anesthesiologist didn't feel comfortable giving me the anesthesia hours later since my stomach probably wasn't empty, so they assured me that Versed would be just fine. I was concerned that it wouldn't put me all the way "out" and that I'd be partially awake.
Um, yeah, I don't know what I was worried about. I was out in no time flat. I remember NOTHING.
