Are they sure they didn't add an extra zero accidentally? Even if you say 'summer' is 120 days long, that's nearly 7-8 festivals *every day*.

they are probably counting every little street fair and such. Does anyone even do festivals there outside the summer?

Music festivals will go as far as September, possibly October, then you've got Guy Fawkes night, then Xmas fayres in December. We expect it to be cold -- nm

I love that spelling (fayre). There is a rollercoaster here called that was called Dragon Fyre but stupidly they renamed it to Dragon Fire. -- nm
