"Paul says he is all for laws requiring equal accommodation for everybody." was not what he was saying on NPR yesterday

He was talking about access for handicapped people saying, "Sure, it would be nice for businesses to give handicapped people offices on the first floor" but that government should stay out of mandated accommodations. That's a naive position, expecting that the market is going to nudge private business in the direction of accommodating handicapped people, which was why he was asked about the Civil Rights act. And he was dodgy on that. It sounded like if it had been up to him, private businesses would have the right to refuse black patrons.
