Hee! You should fly me in for show and telll.
My white count always runs 13-15k, CRP in the 40s, Creatinine and BUN above normal, ANA elevated, I gat hives and really nauseated when I'm out in the sun, I've been on dialysis. Two weeks afo I could hardly talk--I was losing words, stuttering, and half the time I'd open my mouth and nothing came out. I started falling, then couldn't walk. then I started having seizures. Mark took me to the ER and my blood sugar was 592 and my potassium and sodium barely registered. As luck would have it, my personal doctor was covering the ER. They started 2 ivs, pumped in sodium and made me dring two huge glasses of this potassium drink. I also had to have a ct scan on my head to check for a stroke, bleed or tumor. It was negative. The kept me in the med trauma room for hours then sent me to a medical bed. I Got out Monday night, but my electrolytes were still somewhat out of whack. I had a couple more seizures after I got home, but they weren't as bad. I'm just now starting to be able to walk again, but I look drunk. Evidently, this is fairly common with Lupus/Diabetes with nephrology side effects. I dread it ever happening again, but my doctor said it probably will.
I need you to hurry up and graduate and be my personal doctor. I want a skin peel too. ;p
