Just watched a segment on Seattle's news about their Oyster industry and how it would be unable to help out much if the Oyster beds in the Gulf get

contaminated. I guess the northwest is having it's own problems with the fertility of the Oysters. The good thing about the gulf is that the warm water will help with the evaporation of the oil and in breaking it down into fertilizer over the next few years. Now if they just spin the nuts off the blowout preventor and and attach a pipe they could pump some mud down this hole and kill this well. Ok it's a little more then that but the well is basically free flowing into the gulf anyway.
