The gay parents are already defending themselves, would arguing with the waiter change anything?

If I was there, I'd figure the best way to protest the restaurant would be to not tip the waiter (if only for creating an unpleasant atmosphere in the restaurant), tell the manager when I leave that I'll never come back here, and tell my friends about what happened.

Because really, it's not like I can change the waiter's mind any more than the victims themselves.
