my boss wrote me a letter to tell me that "Ironically" is not an actual word, and I should refrain from its usage in all documents.

note: for some reason he decided to review and rewrite a note i had put in a clients file regarding some issues form this year that needed to be reviewed next year. he also, in his rewrite of my note, got all the facts, figures, and dates wrong.
