though the fact that it's a second wedding should have nothing to do with it, but i'm probably personalizing. (grr.)

when you choose a destination wedding, it's ridiculous and horrible to expect that certain people attend, paying their own way. and who knows, maybe the sister doesn't even have that expectation. it would be totally shitty if she did. some important people won't be able to attend; that's the sacrifice you've made.
