It's so weird running parallel with Bret Michaels--the day he finds out that he has a hole in his heart, I do too. *eerie noises*

On the plus side, I'm pretty much never going to have to work again. I had 4 doctors yesterday (a cardiologist, my family doctor, a neurologist and a vascular surgeon) encourage me to apply for disability. They will all write letters for social security recommending that I be apporved. So when and if I do get approved, they base your payment on your highest paid 13 quarters of work. That happens to fall whan we lived in Seattle and I was making some pretty decent bucks. So I might just do a Jules/Julia thing and cook my way through Julia Child's cookbook. Crash gave it to me for Christmas 2 years ago. But I won't blog it, I'll just post here about making sweetbreads and tripe in a beurre butter sauce or something. :)
