ST Poll: Do you know what stickball is? Have you played?

I just had to explain to my roommate what stickball is. He said he never heard of the game before. No clue where or how you play it. Using sewers and cars as bases made him laugh.
He was at work and someone said they were heading to a friends block to play a game.

I was completely shocked that he never heard of it. He's from Texas, is it a NYC thing?

Yes and no. I'd say it's mostly a "city" thing. In the suburbs and open areas, there's fields and yards to play "regular" baseball. -- nm - JaxSean May 22, 13:18 2
