technical / computer geek question for the STers out there ....

last night, my flash drive was fine, was able to access it, open / save files, etc as normal ... then, just a little while ago, i plugged it in ... but nothing popped up like it normally does... so went to access it through the drive icon under 'computer' like i normally can do ... but it wouldn't open ... the only way i could open it to access the files was to right click / then select open ...

any suggestions / comments etc ?
