all the people who didn't die at the end on the island still live. You could easily spin Ben and Hurley those who left the island into future adventures.

it's the Titanic ending; as the survivors died, they joined each other in the ballroom. Old biddy Kate was the last to join them.

But she had a full life that could spawn stories.
