The big issue I have with Lost is that the ending sets the context for everything that came before and, IMO,

that context doesn't do what came before justice.

I liked the characters. They felt fully realized. I thought the structure was interesting and I think the ending isn't contradictory to what led to it.

But it's like being promised a trip to the Eiffel Tower. You're thinking "Yay! Paris!" and instead you take a trip to King's Island to see the 1/3 scale replica.

It's a let down. Sure, King's Island is fun, but it's not Paris.

Lost promised me Paris and didn't deliver.
