likely the final cut ran a few minutes over what the 2-hour slot allotted, and instead of cutting into their commercial time, they padded it to make it 2.5 hours...
Responses:
I doubt it. They said even with the 2.5 hours they still had to cut 20 minutes that will be on the DVD.
