If it's not, that still leaves the resolution unsatisfying.

All of this was to teach them that they're good people and to believe in themselves and to let go, etc. etc. etc.

It's dime store philosophy. It was, personally, insulting. Really? That's the message you wanted me to take away? Thanks. Next Fortune Cookie please.

I really did enjoy the characters. I loved all the mythology. But the ending pretty much says the mythology was just window dressing. The real meat of what they were doing is to say "get right with yourself."

The ending wasn't worthy of what came before. It was trite.
