ring the hotel and ask if they have a coin op washer and dryer. likely they do. you need far less clothes if so.

remember, I traveled for nine months with three weeks worth of work clothes. the hotel laundry was my best friend.

also, you won't have tivo or competent internet, so you'll be bored as hell all the time. may as well do laundry.

if you have a rental car (again, make sure you join avis first or whatever), a local laundrymat is almost as good as hotel laundry (hotel laundry is better because then the hotel can feel more like home).

also, if you have hotel breakfast, steal extra stuff for snack if you can. I always took an extra fruit. keeps non-reimbursable expneses down.
