This is the problem the show's producers faced that they never could have anticipated. Thousands of people started breaking down the most insignificant minutiae of the show. There's like 25 people who have a direct hand in making it, 8 of them being real decision makers. How can they stand up to that level of expectations and dissection? What they eventually settled upon was to not even try, which makes me love BSG a little more but I respect Lost for having a very worthy sendoff.
