Did you know that they can make a functional thumb out of an index finger?

Yup, I just saw images of a kid with 4 fingers (thumb missing). And they are able to take the index finger and make it into a thumb. It looks really good and functional.

- Good question, there is an image of the kid actually holding a big pencil. There is just a bigger gap between the new thumb and the 2nd finger, but - James Bond (aka Igor) May 24, 21:13
