As I indicated yesterday, I'm fully aware that the producers of the show were in an impossible position wherein they were never going to be able to resolve all of the issues. I'm totally fine with that. This attempt at revisionist history wherein they accomplished all of the things they wanted to accomplish and an explanation of why is, however, bullshit.
This Bad Robot person goes into explicit detail about how great the creative team was to avoid temptation and not have Ben in the room because he wasn't part of the season one group on the plane. Meanwhile, he ignores that there were two people in the room who weren't on the plane and a third who wasn't a member of the first season cast. I'm fine with the fact that they were making it up as they went along. I'm not fine with their pretending like they got all of the details perfect.
