that's simple: sun, lapidus and ben were all left handed. everyone knows left handed people can't time travel

what I'm getting at is what explaination would be adequate? in every movie or tv show there are things that aren't explained, sometimes you just don't know or need all the details.
if my ridiculus left handed theory was given, would it make the show any different?
