This is strange. A local friend of mine had been making progressively stranger FB posts over the last few days.

Ending with this:
"If you LOVE mind blowing experiences, have tonight around 9:30 free and want to meet the two most AMAZING men in the WORLD. Please send me a message."

and then an hour later "Please help me." except, she was nowhere to be found.

Fortunately, she came home after 5 hours missing. Her husband and my best friend took her to the hospital for voluntary admission. Except she refused to go in voluntarily. So a police officer arrested her, slapped handcuffs on her, and they did an involuntary commitment.

I was watching some FB traffic last night trying to figure out what was going on. From her posts I guessed she was having a severe manic episode. My friend S filled in the rest, saying that D was completely dissociative and hostile, and had no idea what was going on.
