A wise person told me last night that I would be enjoying the LOST finale a bit more over time. It turns out that person was right

Indeed, I'm a bit more tolerant to the ending and accepting what the producers created. It was not fair to trash the ending, even though some of the explanations were not fully given or did not meet my expectations.
It was truly heartbreaking to find out they were all dead at the "alternative reality" and how all losties were brought together at the end. And the closing scene at the island with Jack and Vincent was marvelous.
Not being a man of faith and more a man of science (although I'm a journalist!) I think I was expecting a closure with more explanations on the island itself. What created those phenomenons, the true identity of Smokey his name was never revealed and I thought this was a huge deal -, where the island was located, how Jacob was able to leave the island and meet his candidates
But the truth is that I'm getting happier as how the show ended. I still think the best finale would have been Jack and the MIB sitting on the beach with Smokey saying how bad he wants to kill Jack. But that would not make sense with the "limbo reality", so that was never an option.
I was disappointed with the events on the island. I know it's just details, but Ben was under a huge tree and suddenly he was out. And the plane was loaded with C4 but no one disarmed it. And I didn't liked they escaped at the end. I would have loved to see Sawyer dying to protect his friends. And the final fight between Jack and the MIB was so lame!
Anyway, this is Fabio saying LOST is growing in his heart and I'll always remember how this show was special in my life.
But I still prefer BSG!!! Best Show Ever!
