I was a big fan of the overriding story arc this year wherein they built up the terminator to be the big villain only to leave him headless in the Mexican desert at an unexpected moment. I also think that tying Gibbs' fate to a drug cartel is a good choice in that a decorated military man gaining revenge is hard to prosecute, assuming anyone even wants to prosecute him.
