honestly, am amazed (and happy) she is still around - going on 3 years with lymphoma

which is really miraculous.
she's got a bunch of other issues because her immune system is compromised, but we've got her on antibiotic courses that help there. for the most part she seems happy. she's just becoming an old dog - almost all the way deaf, she hears the bird and that's about it (and he alerts her when we're home and whatnot). 13 1/2 is no spring chicken for a golden retriever!
gotta admit, I'm dreading leaving her for a week and a half when we go on her honeymoon. sooo worried something bad will happen while we're gone.
