Calling something incoherent and *largely* wasted doesn't exactly equal "so I'll never ever use it myself"

If the gov't decided to slap a tax on orphanages in order to fund a subsidy to send all girls named 'Olivia' to private school, I would call that ridiculous and stupid. But I'd probably still use it to get my kid a better education.
I get how it sounds.
