I don't mind audience laughter, even if somewhat enhanced; but modern blatant laugh tracks are distracting and icky to me

it's no coincidence that I started watching more sitcoms again when the trend tilted to no laughs.
I read a story a while back about the trend.. here's a list of shows that don't do it.
