I don't know. Again, I'm only speaking about the law that prevents then government from taking over from BP.

Everything thing I read from reputable news agencies says the government has been on this from the beginning and doing everything in their power to help but the law is limiting that help.
I don't like it myself and think they need to find a way to get more involved. But I don't think they're sitting back watching and doing nothing.
