It doesn't sound like she's communicated much with Steve, if their last discussion ended with his plea for her to tell him what she wants.

Wanting to go to therapy, then writing an advice columnist... she sounds like she's looking for someone else to tell her what she wants. I.e. lazy and unimaginative. I have little sympathy.
