Now I get that they have to say that to a certain extent, but just in my office alone, there are three people (2 Liberal voters and 1 NDP voter) than have said they would have voted Tory if they knew this was coming. (You have to trust me that I'm not leading anyone. People know I'm political, so they like to talk.)

I don't think Canadians would have voted for a coalition ahead of the Tories. At the very least, not as many.
