I can see this working for the Liberals. But can also backfire big time.

The banner can easily read "Don't vote for the Liberals! They'll get in bed with the Bloc!" But the banner can just as easily read "We saved the economy and used a separatist party to do it." If the Liberals played up "using" the Bloc for their attempts at "nation saving" (*and* their measures were deemed to be successful), it would help the Liberals in the polls and tarnish any future possible pacts (thus diluting any arguments that the Grits would do it again in the future).
Also, I see how Dion can put this all on himself and fall on his sword. That's why I don't see this lasting beyond the leadership race.
