So true.

I feel fortunate to have seen several no-hitters and perfect games in this generation. (I've seen the end of the last four perfect games, luckily.) However, I wasn't around to see any of Koufax's, and I was only five when Nolan Ryan threw his last. In the last few years, there have been a lot of mysterious pitchers throwing these gems and then disappearing again.

Congrats to Halladay. He truly deserves it.
