because I bought several beers with Santa on the label while the rules were supposedly in effect.

Of course, I also manged to buy several beers that were strictly prohibited due to alcohol content (the white and blue label Chimay ales), so I'm leaning toward "not enforced".

Ohio did actually change their rules about 10 years ago and the stronger beers are easily found now.
