Thing I learned yesterday about my grandparents.

My dad's parents immigrated to the United States (separately), met, fell in love, got married. Their first place, before they had kids, was in the far, far south Bronx. They were forced to move because their building was being torn down to build the Triboro Bridge.

Flash forward a couple of decades, they have four kids, my dad is 14, and they are forced to move because their building is being torn down to build the Bruckner Expressway.
