trained? that's what I did for 3.5 years and they're better trained than the Army, which gets zero training for natural disasters.

as far as equipment deficits, that's because so much of the NG's shit is in Iraq.

then is doesn't make much sense for the Army to be suddenly jumping into this role on a full time basis then, does it?

I don't know what they're up to. Our training program moved to NORTHCOM a year ago so this is not a new push by a long shot.
