I don't know what they're up to. Our training program moved to NORTHCOM a year ago so this is not a new push by a long shot.

so I guess my final answer is that. I don't know why they want to do that. Using the NG is a weird thing, maybe that is why. By default they are under the command of the state governnor, not the president.
