It seems like every few days there are game consoles shipping back and forth for repair.....

are they really that unreliable?

yes, microsoft really screwed the pooch with the 360 in the first release (and the second release). New ones are fine, I think.

nope, the newer models still have a 25%+ failure rate -- nm
