I miss the snowcones from the giant cube of ice. They had every flavor on those carts.

I don't see it often anymore but there used to be these Spanish women that would come around in the summer with a huge block of ice that they'd shave into a cup. They had like 20-30 different flavors and you could mix and match. It was like Christmas in July for me when I was kid. They rarely came around and mom and aunt thought it was dirty and disgusting but I didn't care. It was soooo good. Best ice ever, beat the one's in the pizzeria by a mile.
