Been to like 6 car dealerships today. American cars are terrible for leasing, they have low residual compared to Japanese cars.

Not sure if I want to buy an American car because I don't know how reliable they are long term.
Feature wise they aren't priced any better than imports.
The ones that look great on the outside AND inside are more expensive than the imports.
So American cars don't offer any real advantages. And they really should work on increasing their residual values because it is just ridiculous.
The dealerships were also pretty empty, not many people out there buying cars.
Out of the 6 dealers I talked to one was the typical pushy/jerk dealer. I didn't even bother getting his card. However, I am sure he sells a lot of cars.
