CamelCamelCamel shows that the price dropped right after the 3311 was announced.

I can't stomach waiting year-after-year for the next model with the next incremental upgrade. I think HDMI 1.4 is probably a more important upgrade than most, but I'm not paying double for that, or waiting another year.
