I've used it once or twice. Sometimes it's nice not to have to deal with lines and bagging and stuff.

mostly it's just annoying, though. I mean, I like that it's only one step away from being able to scan your grocery bags and know exactly what you're buying, but dealing with the shortcomings of A) not having that step, meaning I have to scan my own stuff, and B) the generally flawed system design of the checkout machines, I don't think it's ready for prime time quite yet.
