My steristrips came off the incision today. 4 inches doesn't sound like a lot until you've seen a cut running from your jawline about an inch in front of your ear and down your neck. The black stitches don't help. I guess it's better than having the huge stroke though. Now my doctors are thinking that the right carotid was probably more like 99% blocked and the two moderate strokes were caused by pieces of the big clot breaking off. It was still blocked 74%--I can't imagine what kind of damage that would do, the smaller ones were bad enough. :)
