They made 10? extra out of 20 more attempts.

Just looking at the box score, 17 attempts vs 37.
The winning team shot 8% worse in FGA, and 20% less in FTA and still won by 4.
Now, I don't know if they were all valid, if Boston just couldn't avoid fouling, but a 37-17 disparity for a league as joke-filled as the NBA, I'm doubtful.
