There are good and bad reasons for it. good would be for accidentally posting a spoiler in the subject line.

Every once in awhile a really bad spoiler gets posted and it's a race to roll the board to try and hide it. Though scrolling backboards you still get spoiled.

What would be nice is if you could post over it. Redo the subject line but the old subject line and IM could not be altered, just buried below a new - Redmond Jun 19, 18:48
