periodically there are appearances/free signings of old local pros at various w-ms in the area; and it's always kind of sad to me, but still nice to see whoever.

anyway, he looked pretty good and was joking with some teenage boys about girls on my way into the store. as I was leaving, I looked over and he was sitting by himself reading. aww. I had to go or I would have at least said hi and thanks for enjoyable years with the 49ers.
