I did get up early to watch and it wasn't worth it. They looked terrible. They had so many chances but couldn't find the back of the net.
NZ played amazing defense and really packed it in after their goal. They weren't interested in playing soccer after that goal, they didn't have a shot on goal for nearly 45 minutes.
Italy really had no answer. They had one long strike that went off the inside of the post, it should have been a goal. But without a long striker they had no chance. NZ had one man up front and everyone else playing defense. No chance to dribble in and nearly every shot was blocked or hit off a defender. No creativity from the Italians and it hurt us bad today.
